Summary

The Audit & Compliance Leader is responsible for ensuring the organization consistently adheres to company policies, regulatory requirements, and security standards. This role oversees compliance across both employee practices and physical site operations, conducting audits, identifying risks, and driving corrective actions. The leader will partner with cross‑functional teams to strengthen our compliance culture, safeguard assets, and maintain operational integrity.

Responsibilities

Audit & Compliance Oversight

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s audit and compliance framework for policies, procedures, and security standards.
  • Conduct regular audits of employee credentials, login practices, operational processes, and physical sites to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor compliance with IT use policies, data protection standards, and physical security protocols.
  • Maintain accurate audit records, findings, and remediation plans.
  • Ensure employee population completes training and communicate within the organization the compliance statistics.
  • Conduct training and classes as needed in conjunction with Training department leads to ensure facilitators understand processes and standards.

Risk Identification & Mitigation

  • Identify gaps, vulnerabilities, and non‑compliance trends across the organization.
  • Recommend and oversee corrective actions to address audit findings.
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement preventive measures and strengthen controls.

Policy & Security Enforcement

  • Ensure employees understand and comply with company policies, including IT, data security, and workplace conduct.
  • Oversee with Operations the physical site security compliance, including access controls, visitor management, and asset protection.
  • Partner with IT, PI, Operations, and Facilities to align security measures with organizational goals.
  • Participate, when requested, in investigations related to possible compliance breaches and/or fraudulent activity.

Training & Awareness

  • Develop, partner and deliver compliance and security awareness programs for employees at all levels.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on enforcing policies and addressing violations.

Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare and present compliance and audit reports to senior leadership.
  • Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations clearly and constructively.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external compliance audits.

Education

·Bachelor’s degree in Business, Compliance, IT Security Management, or related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.

Experience

·7+ years of experience in compliance, audit, or security leadership roles.

·Strong knowledge of corporate policy enforcement, regulatory compliance, and physical security best practices.

·Experience conducting audits and managing remediation plans.

·Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
