Straight out of university

“One of the first customer service representative jobs in Santa Rosa I applied for after graduating in 2019 was with TTEC. I’m from Binan City, and TTEC Santa Rosa is only 30 minutes away, which is convenient. More than that, I also thought TTEC would be a great environment for me to improve my communication skills and boost my confidence as a young professional. I was right!

But since this was my very first job… with my very first BPO company, the work at the beginning was quite challenging. I didn't have a clear idea of the role of a customer service representative yet. Everything was brand new for me. Also, the work schedules were kind of difficult to adjust to. I just did my best to prepare myself mentally, to be flexible, and learn whatever I could.

Growing because of our support system

Despite the difficulties as a fresh graduate, I improved quite a lot at my job. The constant guidance from my team lead and the support from other tenured agents really helped me understand the processes and best practices in production. I learned so much from them.

Now, I still use and share the skills I picked up from them with my own team and fellow Team Leads. Yes, I got promoted after a few years! A Team Lead since February 2022. It’s been an exciting next phase for me.

More than colleagues, we’re a community

While the past four years have given me awesome work experiences, what amazes me are the connections I’ve built with the people I work with. I’ve got great friends in operations, who really help to lessen any stress or pressure from the job. This TTEC community makes me feel at ease. What more can you ask for in a workplace in the customer experience industry?

One of my team members recently got a promotion and joined the Global Workforce Management team. Continuing to see my team members succeed here is a big achievement for me. We all have a chance to grow at TTEC.”
