About Role and Responsibilities:
A Senior Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers, and ensuring the organization attracts and hires the right talent within the required timelines.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
End-to-End Recruitment
Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to offer release and onboarding.
Handle multiple positions across different departments and levels.
Ensure positions are closed within agreed TAT / hiring timelines.
Stakeholder Management
Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand hiring requirements.
Conduct detailed discussions on job descriptions, skills, experience, compensation, and hiring priorities.
Provide regular updates on recruitment progress, challenges, and market availability.
Talent Sourcing
Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, internal databases, referrals, social media, and other channels.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements.
Identify passive candidates for niche and critical positions.
Screening & Interview Coordination
Conduct initial screening and assess candidates based on skills, experience, communication, compensation, and role fit.
Coordinate technical, managerial, and HR interviews.
Collect and document interview feedback and ensure timely movement of candidates through the process.
Offer Management
Manage salary discussions and offer negotiations within approved compensation ranges.
Handle counteroffers and candidate concerns.
Coordinate background verification, documentation, and offer release.
Candidate Experience
Maintain clear and regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience from first contact through joining.
Track and reduce candidate dropouts and offer declines.
Recruitment Metrics & Reporting
Track key recruitment metrics such as:
Time to Hire
Time to Fill
Source of Hire
Offer-to-Join Ratio
Offer Dropout Rate
Cost per Hire
Hiring Manager Feedback
Prepare recruitment dashboards and reports for management.
Recruitment Strategy
Develop sourcing strategies for difficult-to-hire and critical positions.
Analyze talent-market trends and salary benchmarks.
Recommend appropriate hiring channels and sourcing approaches.
Employer Branding
Support initiatives to strengthen the company's employer brand.
Represent the organization professionally when engaging with candidates and external talent communities.
Participate in job fairs, recruitment drives, campus initiatives, and industry events where required.
Vendor & Agency Management
Coordinate with recruitment agencies and external vendors.
Allocate requirements, monitor agency performance, and negotiate commercial terms when applicable.
Maintain a strong external recruitment network.
Process & Compliance
Ensure recruitment activities follow company policies and applicable employment regulations.
Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS / HRMS.
Ensure proper documentation and approval processes are followed.
Senior-Level Responsibilities
At the Senior Recruiter level, the role usually goes beyond individual hiring and may include:
Mentoring and guiding junior recruiters.
Handling critical and leadership-level positions.
Managing high-volume recruitment drives.
Taking ownership of recruitment projects.
Improving recruitment processes and reducing hiring TAT.
Developing talent pipelines for recurring requirements.
Partnering with HRBPs and senior business stakeholders.
Analyzing recruitment data and presenting insights to leadership.
Supporting workforce planning and annual hiring initiatives.
