Position Summary
The Market Research Analyst will work closely with the Sales Enablement leadership in identifying and defining research directions consistent with TeleTech’s business strategy. Specifically, the person will analyze markets to identify opportunities and help drive strategic direction for TeleTech. They collect and analyze data on current/potential customers, competitors, products, pricing strategies, sales and marketing methods, and distribution strategies by engaging in intensive research on market information, market segmentation and market trends for the Customer Experience industry.
As a Research Analyst, you will be a member of a small focused team that conducts secondary and primary research for up to 6 industry verticals and four business units. Your outputs will provide critical research findings and reports for key industry trends, strategic sales engagements, sales account plans, product investment, and business case formulation.  As a contributor to the team and business, you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality analyses, insight, and presentations for sales, marketing, and product management programs. 
Outcomes & Responsibilities
  • Prepare research reports on industries, companies, products, and trends using a combination of primary and secondary research techniques.
  • Consults and works along with functional marketing, sales, and product managers to craft and create research plans in their respective business units and industry verticals.
  • Create compelling research presentations that tell a story in a manner that can be used by sales and marketing with their clients, and by TeleTech leadership to develop company strategy
  • Plans and manages the research projects to conclusion with consistency in timely delivery
  • Builds and Maintains a knowledge base within his or her respective area of research, and be able to place research findings in the appropriate business context based on that knowledge
  • Collaborates with team members to share and build research best practices.
  • Design specialized research strategies, both qualitative and quantitative, that meet project objectives, and advise on the best sources for completing current and future projects
  • Stay current on industry and market news relating to key areas, industries, and competitors

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science based field, with preferences in Research, Economics or Marketing.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research experience.  
  • Ability to synthesize information into useful headlines of information, with opportunities to present to senior staff.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in primary and secondary research tactics.
