Senior Manager, Global Total Rewards
Summary
The Senior Manager, Global Total Rewards is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing global compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs that support the organization’s business goals and talent strategy. This role leads global program development, ensures consistent and compliant execution across regions, and partners closely with HR and business leaders to maintain competitive, equitable, and cost‑effective total rewards offerings. The Senior Manager provides both strategic insight and operational leadership, ensuring programs are aligned, scalable, and responsive to organizational needs.
Responsibilities
Global Compensation Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global total rewards strategy aligned with business objectives and talent management priorities.
- Establish the strategic direction for compensation and benefits programs, including salary planning, operational bonus programs, the Annual Incentive Plan, long‑term incentives, and global benefit offerings.
- Design and execute plans that support short‑ and long‑term business needs and reinforce a pay‑for‑performance culture, including performance measurement and annual merit processes.
- Conduct global market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive positioning while maintaining alignment with compensation budgets.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to ensure equitable, consistent, and competitive compensation practices across all regions.
- Oversee the design and administration of compensation structures, including base pay, variable pay, and incentive programs.
- Develop and maintain global total rewards policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain consistency in the job evaluation process and ensure proper application of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) duties test in the U.S.
Benefits & Wellbeing Programs
- Lead the design, communication, and administration of global benefits programs, including health and welfare, wellness, retirement, time‑off programs, and employee perks.
- Ensure global benefits compliance and alignment with legal, regulatory, and cultural requirements across all regions.
- Monitor emerging benefits trends and recommend enhancements that support workforce needs and organizational priorities.
- Develop communication strategies to educate employees on total rewards programs and enhance understanding and engagement.
- Manage and maximize relationships with vendors, brokers, consultants, and other external partners to optimize program value and service delivery.
- Support benefits harmonization efforts during mergers, acquisitions, and organizational transitions.
- Support open enrollment, new program launches, and change initiatives.
Compliance & Governance
- Maintain compliance and governance frameworks for total rewards policies, tax regulations, reporting requirements and processes across all regions.
- Support pay-equity analysis and reporting.
- Support global mobility programs including expatriate compensation and relocation policies.
- Oversee visa/immigration requirements for global mobility.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Partnership
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to support compensation decisions, job evaluations, and total rewards planning.
- Provide guidance and solutions on compensation, benefits, and payroll matters across global regions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on total rewards programs and practices.
Leadership & Team Development
·Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development to the Total Rewards team.
·Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer service.
·Manage and maximize vendor and consultant relationships to support program delivery and innovation.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Global Remuneration Professional (GRP), or similar certification preferred.
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards with global exposure, preferably in a BPO space.
- Proven experience with global benefits programs, compensation structures, and regulatory compliance including managing teams and external vendors.
- 5+ years of financial analysis and reporting experience preferred.

- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, influence stakeholders, and manage cross‑functional initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and benchmarking skills.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and employees.
- Cultural awareness and global mindset to understand the external marketplace for all locations and the impact it has on sourcing strategies.
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple assignments and excel in a high volume, fast-paced, multinational organization.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) required.
