As we approach Veterans Day weekend in the United States and Canada, we wanted to share our sincere appreciation for the sacrifice and service of the military veterans.

We are home to many veteran colleagues whose service is a narrative of bravery and sacrifice that continues to resonate throughout our organization. Their transition from military life has brought unique strengths to our team. Our veteran team members embody the spirit of these commemorations, and we are honored to have them as part of our global family.

Learn more about TTEC's heroes who served in the United States military.

"Service means duty, and doing what needs to be done to ensure your team is taken care of."

“ I enlisted in 2011 into the Air Force Reserves. During training, I met the Air Force Chief of Chaplains during a Sunday worship service. He encouraged me to pursue becoming a Chaplain. I graduated technical training in May 2012 and received my Commission as a Chaplain trainee by February 2014. I am so grateful to have served my country. My oldest is now in the U.S. Army Guard. Bless you, all TTEC veterans on this 2023 Veterans Day."

“I was living in Las Vegas Nevada, working a job at minimum wage.  I was driving home one day and saw an ARMY Recruiter office.  I made a U-turn, walked inside, and the next thing I knew I was on a plane 2 weeks later for FT. DIX New Jersey.  This was in 1980 five years after the Vietnam Conflict.  I wanted to be a cartographer (map drawer).  They tested everyone that enlisted with me and don't you know my score was the highest in the class…for diesel mechanic.  After 8 weeks of boot camp, I was off to Ft. Eustis Virginia.

I went through diesel school and was placed in my company as a 61 Charlie MOS. I was assigned to the 73rd Transportation Company and worked on Tug boats, LCUs (landing craft unit), and a 100-ton floating crane. Within just over a year, I was promoted to Sergeant. I am thankful I joined the service and proud that I did.  It taught me discipline and respect for others. I believe I am who I am today because of my service in the U.S. Army. “

"I joined the U.S. Army in October 2005 and became a combat engineer. I did a tour in 2006 thru 2007 in Iraq that lasted over a year. My rank was Specialist by the end of my term. I have been working with TTEC for almost 8 years, since joining TTEC I have been part of different departments and positions. I am currently a Team Lead.”
