What You’ll Do
TTEC is looking for an Associate Data Engineer to join our growing data team. This is an entry-level role ideal for a recent graduate who is passionate about data, eager to learn, and ready to start a career in data engineering.
You'll work alongside experienced engineers to build and maintain data pipelines, learn our cloud-based data stack, and support analytics across the business. We provide mentorship and hands-on training — strong fundamentals and a genuine willingness to learn matter more to us than years of experience.
You'll report to Manager, Data Engineering.
During a Typical Day, You’ll
•Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines that move and transform data across our systems
•Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and prepare data for analysis
•Develop Python scripts to automate data tasks and support ETL/ELT processes
•Support the team in working with our cloud data platform (Google Cloud Platform)
•Help monitor scheduled data workflows and troubleshoot basic issues
•Contribute to data quality checks and documentation
•Learn and grow into our full data stack with guidance from senior engineers
What You Bring to the Role
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field — recent graduates are welcome
•Strong foundation in SQL — able to write queries using JOINs, filtering, aggregation, and grouping
•Strong foundation in Python — comfortable with core programming concepts (data types, loops, functions, working with libraries)
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies
•Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
•Strong attention to detail
•Must be able to work US shift
