What You’ll be Doing
You will be managing a safe, attractive and functional physical environment for all employees. In support of the department vision to create an exceptional workplace. In this role, you will develop, implement, and maintain facility programs that reflect the priorities of continuous improvement, automation, thinking globally and identifying best practices, while at the same time working to reduce TTEC’s financial exposure.
You’ll report to the Senior Manager, Real Estate & Facilities.
During a Typical Day, You’ll
Effectively leads and manages Facilities team, within the department’s SLA and KPIs standards, including but not limited to Facilities Technicians, Service Coordinators, Facilities Systems, Security Managers, Directory Assistance/Reception Supervisors, Receptionists, and contracted mailroom operation
- Maintains various facility systems such as HVAC, CCTV, turn styles, elevators, electrical stairs, utilities, and systems such as emergency generator, UPS, lighting, security, and Fire Detection and Alarm System (FDAS)
- Establishes and manages Facilities budget (Opex and Capex), creating the purchase requisitions including supplies, follow up on invoices payments and is responsible for reporting financial information. In conjunction with corporate real estate evaluates present and future needs for real estate.
- Manages facility programs covering disaster preparedness and recovery and coordinates with headquarters division to implement company-wide Emergency Response Plan. Being the point of contact during a disaster situation to return safely to operations, requires to be available or have a designee to response in timely manner.
- Lead the communication of comprehensive job safety instructions and training to all employees/workers prior to their actual deployment or the start of their exposure to work hazards, covering familiarization with their work environment, equipment handling, and safety within the work environment. Training for employees/workers shall include health promotion, hazards associated with their work, health risks involved or to which they may be exposed, preventive measures to eliminate or minimize risks, steps to take in cases of emergency, and safety instructions for the jobs, activities, and tasks to be handled by them.
- Comply with OSHS requirements, including training, medical examinations, and the provision and use of protective and safety devices such as machine guards and PPE; identify and manage the risks associated with exposure to safety and health hazards, such as chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic hazards and psychosocial stresses.
- Submit all report requirements like Work Accident Illness Report, Annual Work Accident/Illness Exposure Data Report, Report of Safety Organization, OSH committee Minutes of the Meeting and Annual Medical Report to DOLE and some other reportorial requirement to BFP, PEZA, DENR etc.
What You Bring to the Role
- At least 5 years of experience as a BPO Facility Supervisor or;
- At least 5 years of experience as a Building Manager
- Strong sense of leadership: Ability to mentor, train, and supervise technicians, facility personnel, and contractors
- Strong critical thinking for any facility issues
- Strong communication skills for reporting to management
