What You Will be Doing

A payroll specialist ensures employees are paid accurately and on time by managing payroll processing, processing payments and ensuring compliance with tax regulations and labor laws.

During a Typical Day, You will

·Process payroll payments accurately and on a timely manner in compliance with tax regulations, labor laws and company standards

·Full and final settlement processing

·Participate in payroll testing and analysis

·Investigate and resolve errors in payroll processing

·Processing and resolving payroll disputes, discrepancies and errors.

·Reconciliation of payroll and statutory files and reports

·Filing and payroll tax returns and other required reports.

·Understanding and staying current on changes in payroll regulations

·Releasing of check payment salaries if needed

·Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters through various platforms – HXConnect, email and Teams chat.

What You Bring to the Role

·1 to 2 years of experience processing India payroll for a large multinational organization 

·Knowledge on payroll of other APAC countries is an advantage

·Knowledge of Kronos, Oracle HR, payroll and general ledger systems

·Knowledge of India tax regulations, compliance and labor rulings.

·Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills

·Great interpersonal skills in dealing with a diverse population

·Able to respect and ensure strict confidentiality of employee and payroll data.

·High level of integrity and judgment

·Proficient in English, both written and verbal
