What You'll be Doing
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MTA Toll Payer Advocate Support to work remotely. The ideal candidates will be passionate about providing top-notch service to our customers, resolving inquiries efficiently and thoroughly, and ensuring a positive experience with every interaction. The office of the MTA Toll Payer Advocate works with customers who have not been able to reach a satisfactory resolution at the Customer Service Center.

Compensation
The anticipated range is $29.40 hourly. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels.

During a typical Day, You'll

  • Coordinate directly with the MTA and customers on inquiries and investigations
  • Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries via email and phone
  • Provide accurate information about our products/services, pricing, and policies
  • Troubleshoot customer problems and guide customers through solutions
  • Research customer accounts to identify root issues
  • Prepare detailed financial analysis of customer accounts
  • Maintain thorough records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Provides customer support on enforcement efforts
  • Continuously strive to improve the customer experience by identifying trends and suggesting process improvements.
  • Uphold company values and policies in every interaction with customers.

What  you Bring to the Role

  • 18 months or more of customer service and call center experience
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Dependable, accurate and detail oriented
  • Knowledge of computer and internet applications
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with supervisors, peers, and customers
  • Time management skills
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred
  • A positive attitude and a passion for helping others.
