What You’ll be Doing
In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Legal and Risk Officer of a public company, managing daily schedules, communications, and high-priority tasks with discretion and efficiency. You’ll coordinate meetings, prepare confidential materials, and ensure seamless execution of executive-level responsibilities in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. In addition, you’ll support the broader Legal Department by handling departmental administrative duties, maintaining organized records, and assisting with process coordination and operational needs.
During a Typical Week, You’ll
- Provide administrative support to the Chief Legal & Risk Officer and members of the Global Risk & Legal Team as needed to include managing calendar requests, creating and proofing documents and presentations, supporting document management, records retention, vendor management for outside counsel and other legal and risk department meetings around the globe.
- Manage calendars, including coordinating and scheduling meetings with internal c-suite executives, internal/external stakeholders and legal counsel.
- Facilitate communications between the General Counsel and internal/external stakeholders.
- Support legal operations, including assisting with legal vendor setup, legal department tools, legal matter management & e-billing system administrator functions, create and analyze reports monthly/quarterly or as needed; manage legal reserves and organizational charts.
- Expense and budget management
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Provide backup support for the company’s Board of Directors through clear communication, electronic board portal software, and as-needed ‘care and feeding’ support services
- Assist with the coordination of Risk & Legal team engagement activities and related departmental meetings to include travel assistance as needed for remote and global team members, set-up and management of virtual monthly meetings, and other recognition activities.
- Manage software licenses for applications and tools utilized by the Risk & Legal department
- Other projects as requested.
What You Bring to the Role
- Excellent writing, organizational, communication, analytical and computer skills
- Fully proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Co-Pilot), familiar with Visio, video conferencing via Teams or Zoom.
- Experience in making domestic & international travel arrangements (air, hotel, car service)
- Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity driven problem-solving skills, ability to “think outside of the box”
- Technical curiosity and desire to learn how to onboard new technology tools including AI tools as they evolve.
- Able to multi-task with high level of energy
- Experience working with sensitive materials while maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to work independently, work for multiple individuals and take on a variety of responsibilities and projects.
- Executive presence and effective communication to manage-up with C-suite peers of the Chief Legal Officer.
- Team player with a “can-do” attitude, positive outlook, and ‘calm in crisis’ demeanor.
- Comfortable with being ‘uncomfortable’ in the new and evolving environments and situations.
- Experience supporting C-suite executives.
- Familiarity with legal terms and public company reporting requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Proactive problem-solver with a high level of attention to detail.

The anticipated range is $90,000-$110,000. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels.
