Reflecting on Excellence in EMEA and Looking Ahead for 2024

Can you believe we’re already at the end of our second month in 2024?
For me, this month has been around setting new goals, taking on new challenges, and a time for reflection.

Right now, I’d like to take a moment to recognise the incredible journey of success that our TTEC EMEA team experienced throughout 2023. From new site launches to prestigious industry awards, it was a year of remarkable achievements that has set the stage for an exciting future.

Come with me as I take a trip across EMEA to look at the highlights…

Our first stop is Greece! The team opened a new state-of-the-art facility and took home a gold win for the ‘Most Effective Application of Technology (EX)’ at the European Contact Centre and Customer Service Awards (ECCCSAs) for an employee-led innovation created to reduce admin tasks, freeing up time so that it could be better utilised. We are proud of the team not just for the win, but for using the TTEC toolkit to proactively create better experiences for everyone.

Next, a shoutout goes to our exceptional team in Poland, where the focus is on the end-to-end learning, development lifecycle and employee experience really shine. At the ECCCSAs, our commitment to employee growth and development was recognised with a gold award for the Most Effective Learning & Development Program. The team earned Silver for Best Multilingual Customer Service, Bronze for Outsourced Contact Centre of the Year, and Highly Commended for Best Employee Experience.

Poland’s award streak didn’t end there! Their achievements continued with two silver awards from the Türkiye Customer Experience Awards and a gold win at the International Business Excellence Awards for Best Company to work for! They’re already on track this year for more award success. Awesome work team Poland!

We marked a key milestone in the South Africa journey one year after our first program launched, with a move to a new site, celebrating with colleagues, industry leaders and local dignitaries! I had the privilege of attending this event myself and it was an incredible experience with a team that really live and breathe our values (and for that incredible view of Table Mountain from the office!)

Let’s not forget about the community spirit from our Bulgaria team! The team in Bulgaria have been doing wonderful things for their local community. From supporting a local school with a new roof, books, and supplies, to taking part in charity runs and fundraising! The team have led the way for our region when it comes to support through our TTEC Foundation initiatives.

Product knowledge and treating customers like our best friends is the key in the UK, with interactive product days and brand awareness sessions at our site in Leeds! With this being my ‘home’ site, I know first-hand this team truly embrace collaboration with our partners, inclusivity for all and fun employee events.

Over the festive period, we had more reasons to celebrate with TTEC EMEA's commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging acknowledged with the HRO Today Award. The nomination emphasized our celebration of uniqueness and the fostering of a sense of belonging across our region through initiatives including our Employee Resource Groups, training programs, events and the TTEC Foundation.

We welcomed Egypt to the TTEC family. Our new facility in Egypt is well underway, already welcoming new clients and we can’t wait for the official site launch later this year!

This year we look ahead to new site launches, future goals and celebrating successes!

Our Gold-winning stories are set to take centre stage at the European Contact Centre and Customer Service Exchange event in March. This presents a fantastic opportunity for @Keneth and @Armen to share insights and learnings with industry peers, solidifying our position as leaders in the field.
