We’re celebrating TTEC Hyderabad’s first year anniversary this month, and what a better way to celebrate it than by recognizing some of our amazing leaders during the Women’s Month! Muntaz Vempalli and Susai Mary, both from our technology hub, located in the city of Hyderabad, Telangana which houses TTEC Digital, joined our very own Executive Director for Global Talent Acquisition Marketing, Vicki Steere, on our last TTEC Talent Show on LinkedIn Live. Muntaz and Susai shared their TTEC story and how the company is helping them grow as leaders of their teams. They share how TTEC is committed to hiring and growing women in their careers.

Muntaz has been with TTEC for a year. As the HRMS Principal Analyst, she supports and transform the payroll processes of business users across the globe. Outside work, she is a wife and a mother of two lovable daughters. According to Muntaz, the flexible work arrangements work to her advantage. She strikes a balance between professional and personal lives without having to compromise one. When asked how she views TTEC’s commitment to empowering women leaders, she shared how important inclusion is because each success story contribute to the success of the company. And hearing directly from TTEC’s CEO, Ken Tuchman, about the commitment to diversity and inclusion, makes her feel that she is with the right team at the right moment in time.

Susai Mary joined TTEC as a temporary Helpdesk Supervisor in June 2020. Her commitment to help clients around the globe with their technical concerns and to support the onboarding of new hires is simply outstanding. But everything for Susai was not a walk in the park. In September 2020, she contracted the COVID-19 virus. The doctors said she only had 5 days to live. Fast forward to now, who could imagine that she is still with us after 6 months? She shared how her counterparts in the Philippines became instrumental towards her team’s success and how the management has given their all-out support to her and family during that difficult moment.

Wrapping up the conversation, Muntaz and Susai were asked about who their greatest mentors were and what their views are about mentorship. Muntaz shared how transparency at work is important. When she is transparent, she analyzes the impact of the issues she’s working on.  For Susai, she puts a lot of weight in teamwork. High performing teams do not happen by chance. They are created. Working with committed teammates brings out the best out of Susai and she looks forward to working with more amazing individuals in the future.

Here’s to more years with TTEC Hyderabad and to more ways to #ChoosetoChallenge the status quo during Women’s History Month and the extended recognition of International Women's Day.
