Sales Performance Manager – Role & Responsibilities
Drive Sales Results
•       Partner with Senior Supervisors and Operations Managers to formulate a monthly sales n      
        action plan that identifies the areas of opportunity and establishes supporting actions for    
        sales and sales compliance improvement. 
•       Share successful best practices with colleagues across the division
•       Manage the sales reward and recognition program at the site level, creating a stimulating 
        and motivating environment in support of sales.  
•       Strategize with Site Director, Operations Managers and sales senior supervisors to create 
        and implement effective site level contests
•       Hold weekly or bi-weekly sales meetings to provide recognition, strategize on sales 
        initiatives and-site-specific-- performance improvement  opportunities.
Process Management/Improvements
•       Meet with Operations managers, Senior Supervisors, and sales associates and gather data 
        on their daily activities and determine gaps.
•       Conduct focus groups as needed in order to determine operational needs that impact sales 
•       Hold monitoring session calibrations and work to identify improvement opportunities in the 
        customer experience and sales process with emphasis on sales compliance.
•       Make recommendations based on assessment findings targeting improved sales 
•       Review and assess technology and propose changes that would enhance the quality of 
        sales data required for accurately managing sales productivity.
•       Serve as a conduit for sharing Sales Associate feedback regarding system Issues 
        and process or product improvement opportunities. 
•       Validation of monthly VIC files to ensure accuracy of payouts.
Analyze Performance
•       Proactive Review and analysis of daily, weekly and monthly KPI sales data/trends and    
        communicate opportunities for process/performance improvements to the site 
        management team.
Sales Compliance Focal
•       Strategize with Senior Supervisors to identify and recommend actions to improve sales
        compliance performance.
•       Partner with Compliance Operations managers and Sales Manager to create site 
        performance plans to drive compliance results.
•       Attend weekly call calibration sessions with Sales Compliance group and hold site level 
        calibration sessions as needed.
•       Educate and reinforce compliance rules of ethical standards for sales.
•       Partner with operations and training to achieve highest level of compliant sales
Sales Program and Process Support
•       Deliver sales project, product, and program communications to the site according to the 
        project requirements.
•       Manage changes to the sales program at the site using a variety of communications venues, 
        including memos, talking points, desk drops,posters and meetings.
•       Effectively manage the sales availability budget by planning sales training and coaching time 
        and monitoring the use of sales availability codes.
•       Perform divisional studies and focus groups to gain feedback on specific releases,pilots or 
•       Participate in the development of any training related material that deals with or is
        designed for assigned projects or pilots. 
Develop and Deliver Sales Training & Workshops
•       Create job aids geared towards streamlining sales operational process.
•       Deliver New Hire sales presentation and Variable Incentive Overview for every new hire 
        class, and provide trainers with the sales metrics and sales expectations.
•       Assess the performance of our basic sales metrics (Offer Rate, Accept Rate and PPeC)and 
        develop targeted skill workshops geared towards reducing # of outliers
•       Develop and conduct product clinics and listening labs for associates to improve and/or 
        maintain performance levels in sales and compliance.
•       Facilitate local sales/compliance up-training sessions with Senior Supervisors, New Hire
•       Partner with local Training group in all sales training and performance improvement initiatives
