Principal Systems Software Certification Engineer
 
What you’ll be doing : 
Responsible for the testing, certification, deployment, support, troubleshooting, and upgrades to TTEC Omni channel platform (telephony, chat, email, social media, etc). This person should be familiar with call routing concepts as well as how various systems integrate and interface with an Omni channel platform (i.e. Call recording, SIP, e-mail, etc.).  This individual will be responsible for testing, certifying and coordinating pre-prod testing with the engineering team primarily with NICE & Bright Pattern
 
Candidate’s primary responsibilities will be to build automations in selenium, test & implement automation in the Certification Environment : client upgrades, new launches, patches, and new releases of NICE/BP software.  The person will be responsible for completing all test cases currently documented and certifying each environment.  Additionally the candidate will be required to update existing documentation with new test cases as new features become available.  This person will report new bugs and provide all steps for replication to the development team and track all bugs reported.
The individual should have superb multi-tasking skills and will at times be required to manage 3 or more Certification environments at a given time. The candidate will also help train and lead 2 certification engineers on running the automated test cases developed.  They should collaborate often with the resources to make continued improvements in the automations.
 
Require candidate with call center applications and administration experience with Windows 2008/2012.
 
The position will require attendance to many of TTEC’s changes ensuring rapid testing of new omni channel solutions post change.  Changes are often done during nights and weekends.  A laptop will be provided so off hour changes can be made from home. Employees must have high speed internet to support testing outside of normal working hours.
 
What skills you’ll need :


  • BA or BS in a computer-related field, or equivalent experience with aptitude for certification in server administration

  • Excellent written and spoken communications skills (English)

  • Experience building extensive automations in selenium and executing test cases

  • Experience in Windows server products (Windows 2008 and 2012, SQL Server), including remote administration, server building per spec and advanced functionality

  • Experience with telephony systems or omni-channel platforms (omni-channel preferred)

  • Experience with test, certifying, deploying and/or implementing web applications

  • Experience with VOIP phones and troubleshooting Windows 7 / Windows 10 desktops

  • Experience with call recording systems.

  • Experience with CTI

  • Experience with SQL programming and the use of tools such as SQL Navigator and Toad a plus

  • Ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Self-motivated and able to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision

  • Excellent time management and ability to triage multiple, concurrent technical issues

  • Strong ability to multi-task and maintain multiple projects at once

  • Team motivated, especially when troubleshooting issues – the entire team must be able to work with other groups (network, telecom, server team) to fix an issue

  • Ability to communicate and interact with a variety of people at different levels (must have strong “people skills” to communicate basic non-technical concepts with end users, technical skills to communicate with engineering team, etc.)

  • Ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Self-motivated and able to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision

  • Excellent time management and ability to triage multiple, concurrent technical issues
