Monitoring System Development Engineer
What you’ll be doing : 
As part of our Technology Information Group within the Monitoring and Tools team :

•        Expand the capabilities of ttec’s monitoring and automation platform, which supports over 10,000 devices and growing.

•        Develop leading edge process automation.

•        Work with a team of people dedicated to rapid detection and resolution of network infrastructure issues.

•        Build responsive Web UI for internal and customer interfacing applications

•        Build application platform monitoring (APM) capabilities

•        Build robotic process automation (RPA) capabilities for monitoring

•        Troubleshoot issues that arise with applications
Skills and Experience requirements :

•        3 years of demonstrated experience python coding

•        3 years of demonstrated experience with php coding (LAMP/WAMP platforms)

•        Experience in developing server-side logic with user facing interfaces

•        2-3 years of demonstrated experience with MSSQL and MYSQL ODBC development

•        MYSQL/MSSQL (view, trigger, stored procedure, index, schema design and optimization)

•        Knowledge of common network services like DNS, Web Servers (IIS, Apache), FTP Servers, Email Servers, and Database Systems Administration

•        Solid understanding of networking protocols VPN,TCP/IP, SMTP, FTP, HTTP, SNMP, Syslog, SSH etc.

•        Familiarity with Linux operating systems

•        Strong internal and external communication skills

•        Strong documentation skills
Exceptional candidates will have one or many of the following skills : 

•        Java, C#/VB.NET

•        Any monitoring platform experience (em7, solarwinds, prognosis, etc)

•        Any Cisco product experience
