Job Description

TTEC Canada is looking for a Facilities Office Cleaning Technician, who wishes to contribute to the success of the company. TTEC offers a complete range of customer care, telemarketing and back office services to large Canadian companies.

TTEC currently employs more than 2,500 people across nine locations in Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

The Facilities Office Cleaning Technician is responsible for keeping a clean environment, which is a key element to providing a healthy and attractive working atmosphere for our employees. This position encompasses everything from daily general cleaning services to building maintenance and the person must be familiar with cleaning supplies, materials, and equipment; and be able to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted.
Job Description :

  • Cleaning and disinfection of restrooms, cafeteria and production floors;
  • Caring of floor by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scraping and carpet spotting;
  • Surface care such as dusting, cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces like glass, mirror, windows, blinds, curtains, doorknobs, telephones and light switches as well as metal and wood polishing; 
  • Waste disposal and recycling;
  • Light maintenance including moving of furniture and equipment, changing light bulbs, restocking supply cabinets and touch up paint;
  • Reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals;
  • As a safety team member, to work closely with emergency response plans including evacuation, implementation of after-hours emergency response and environmental health and safety;
  • Performs other job-related tasks as required.

Qualifications :
  • Good communication skills both written and oral in English and French and comfortable communicating with customers, associates and management;
  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • Hands on with a minimum one year of experience in custodial and janitorial work;
  • Have basic knowledge of office sanitation programs, materials and cleaning methods;
  • Must be able to work assigned shift; 
  • Basic computer skills  and experience, with Word and Excel;
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening.
