Service Now Platform Architect - Remote

What You’ll be Doing -

The Systems Software Principal Engineer solutions to technical challenges facing the development of digital products or solutions. They focus on building end-to-end scalable solutions (web applications, automation, and application integration) depending on the client's requirements and specifications.

You'll report to Director, Systems Software Engineering. 

During a Typical Day, You’ll

  • Requirement Gathering: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, including business users and IT teams, to understand their needs and translate them into ServiceNow requirements.
  • Application Development: Expert in Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows to meet organizational needs. This includes configuring complex application components in service portal, forms, tables and logic workflows.
  • Scripting: Expert in writing and maintaining scripts using JavaScript, Glide Script, Angular JS/NodeJS, HTML/CSS and other scripting languages to automate processes, create rules, and enhance ServiceNow functionality.
  • Integration: Expert in Integrating ServiceNow with other third-party applications and systems using APIs, web services, and middleware tools.
  • User, Group & license Administration: Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls within ServiceNow, ensuring proper security and data protection. Expert in Maintaining licenses within entitled for compliance
  • Reporting and Analytics: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into system performance, usage, and compliance.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, architecture flow diagrams and changes made in the ServiceNow platform.

What You Bring to the Role

  • Overall minimum IT experience - 10+ years 
  • Mandatory hands-on with minimum 6+ years of experience in Service now applications such as ITOM/ITAM-CMDB/HRSD
  • In depth working experience in at least 2-3 other applications modules Such SAM, HAM, ITBM, Service Portal or Integrations
  • Design Automation workflows using ServiceNow Orchestration, Integration Hub and spokes
  • Experience with ServiceNow Platform applications and capabilities like Virtual Agent, Portal, Flow Designer, predictive intelligence, mobile apps etc.
